Squash / Pumpkin Halwa . Pumpkin halwa is my fav sweet since childhood. My mom prepares this halwa every year when the season comes. It's easy with simple ingredients and healthy too. Of course delicious ! . Ingredients: Squash cubes - 2 cups Jaggery - 1/2 cup Milk- 1/4 cup or less Ghee- 2 tsp Sliced Nuts -1/4 cup . Method : Take a pan and add ghee. Roast the nuts. Keep aside. Now in the same pan add squash and saute for 3-4 min. Then add jaggery and milk. Mix well and cook for 10-12 min. The jaggery melts , squash softens and milk blends with the squash. Once the bubbles appear and the sweet become little thicken. Switch off the flame add nuts. Serve hot or chilled. . Source : Amma Serves :4 Storage : 3 days Time :20 min . . . . .
